A True Passion and Enthusiasm - Because We Love Bikes

Built by bike enthusiasts, for bike enthusiasts. ThatBikeSound.com was born out of a lifelong passion and enthusiasm for anything with wheels and an engine.

Growing up with motorsport the sound of engines firing up and the roaring exhaust notes produced by both two and four wheeled machines formed a lasting memory and has been an important part of life ever since.

Exposed from an early age to the sense of community and camaraderie with fellow bikers, the value in meeting likeminded people and sharing a passion and enthusiasm is what we are all about. Head down to any motorbike event, local club meet, or race track and you will find herds of like minded people demonstrating their passion for bikes, and you will see first hand how the range of automotive paraphernalia bonds them inextricably together. By using this website, we welcome you to ThatBikeSound community.

Beyond the passion, joy, convenience, and practicality of this resource, there is another driving factor behind our efforts. The combustion engine is facing ever greater pressure to change and adapt to modern living, and we worry for its long term future. ThatBikeSound.com forms part of our desire to preserve elements of the amazing machines we have been lucky enough to experience and enjoy in our lifetimes. To capture that memory and experience as accurately as possible for our children, and for their children- an online museum of sorts for all future generations.

Motorbikes are a multi sensual experience, eyes, ears, nose, they all play their vital role. Existing photos will forever tell the story of how motorbikes evolved and adapted through time and generations, ThatBikeSound.com will tell the story of sound, and the smell, well, unfortunately we haven’t figured out a way to accurately capture and preserve that (yet!).

Driven By Detail - A Commitment To That Bike Sound

At ThatBikeSound.com we are completely committed to providing the highest quality, most accurate and reliable motorbike sounds and exhaust comparisons.

We offer a practical and convenient resource to better inform buyers and enthusiasts from around the world when making purchasing decisions for their next motorbike or aftermarket exhaust system - removing the guesswork from this important decision making process.

ThatBikeSound.com utilises the same professional broadcast-quality sound recording and video equipment, with a fixed microphone and camera placement across all videos. When listening from the comfort of your own home through the same set of speakers or headphones you have a truly accurate and reliable sound comparison.

Our meticulous attention to detail and relentless drive for the highest possible quality of sound and video was born out of frustration towards the current offering. Fed up with poor quality, inaccurate and un-comparable exhaust videos when trying to decide on a new bike or aftermarket exhaust system. We decided to create a resource to accurately inform the motorbike and exhaust buying process for the whole biker community.

Accompanying all sound and exhaust videos on our website you will find a selection of standardised images, plus further information including an in test decibel rating, and the best price available online for the exhaust system. Allowing for further convenience and informed comparison between different motorbikes and exhaust systems. Taking the guesswork out of choosing an exhaust system that suits your ears, eyes and wallet - ThatBikeSound.com has fixed the variables and removed the inaccuracies that previously existed, we are 100% independent and our sound is never altered in any way.
